technology on Microsoft platform. Envision can on choice make relevant information
available on the web server so that entire mobile and local user community can access the information. The features like web-connectivity of your local database make it easy for traveling sales team or top-management to access information that would

|
| Configuration |
| The C.I module lies at the heart of application. C.I takes care of features that define the very architecture of Envision. Envision has been designed such that there is a clear boundary between modules based on functionality, however, allowing a seamless data flow. This is accomplished by a database architecture that keeps the core organizational data under the control of a single module – C.I. Apart from database, C.I addresses licensing and security issues. Licensing control is achieved through C.I module. When an organization decides to implement Envision as a prerequisite it has to purchase at least one license of C.I. Since all licenses are floating, single license of C.I allows database creation and configuration facility to a single user at a time. Additionally, this license
also takes care of license control for as many as required licenses of other modules.
However, if multiple users simultaneously want to use administrative features of C.I, those many C.I licenses need to be present. C.I takes care of security issues too. Entire
gamut of data security to user level access rights is handled by Envision. User access rights differentiate the users from a specific module user to the administrative user for
the entire application or just for the concerned module. The following is the summary of C.I database structure, data entry, and administrative utilities |
- Item Type Master
- Item Master
- BOM
- Employee Master
- Customer Master
- Contact Person Master
- Shipper Master
- Machine Shop / Machines Master
- Supplier Master
- Access Rights
|
|
Item type master is a unique feature that allows creation of literally any type of items – starting from raw material types to semi finished and finished goods types. It also takes care of item specification units. The user also specifies the unit on which price is based.
With C.I rightly configured, Envision gets all set to be implemented in the respective functional areas.

The features like yearly sales orders versus weekly or monthly delivery schedules handling, enquiry handling, offer preparation w.r.t. available product design / specifications and customer needs, etc. make the software highly user friendly.
